About Us - Oak Dining Sets

OakDiningSets is an internet based oak dining set furniture brand and is part of our parent company Top Furniture Ltd.  Top Furniture was founded with the aim of being a UK furniture distributor to retail shops across the country offering a huge selection of furniture at competitive prices.  It soon became apparent that the high street furniture retailer was facing huge competition from online furniture retailers and that the business model would not be viable unless we tapped into the lucrative online furniture sector.  We started to trial this in early 2006 had instant success selling many product ranges online and so it became apparent that this was going to be the way forward for us to drive sales in the years ahead.  We have now progressed to a fast growing internet furniture retailer who specialises in the oak dining / kitchen tables and chair sector sourced from the Baltic states but we also offer a wide selection of other furniture including some very good value Mexican Corona Pine furniture and dark brown bedroom furniture made from Alderwood.  If you have a requirement for furniture please get in touch as we have access to a huge number of suppliers from our contacts made as a furniture distributor.  We are in the process of expanding the oak dining table and chair sets to include matching sideboards, display cabinets, coffee tables and TV Units in the same oiled oak finish as we are regularly getting asked for these items. 

The business comprises of Dave & Martin and a team of warehouse staff who keep the wheels in motion to ensure a trouble free sales experience and delivery.  Martin has a lifetime of experience in the furniture industry stretching over 30 years whilst Dave comes from an IT management background.  This important combination of skills from the furniture trade and IT sector has made it possible for us to grow the company very quickly without having to employ a huge number of staff which has kept our costs low but has meant that we both work very long hours.  By putting most of our focus into the oak dining tables and chairs furniture sector and sourcing top quality oak dining products in large quantities we have been able to offer our internet customers a broad range of top quality dining products at a price that we are confident will not be beaten.  We are always at the end of the telephone happy to discuss your specific requirements or to arrange visits to our Staffordshire warehouse and for collections.  Our product range is constantly being added to as the company grows and we aim to be one of the dominant internet furniture retailers in the oak table and chair sector in 2008.  If you are a furniture manufacturer and have a range of products that you think may suit our business profile then please contact us with details as we are constantly looking for innovative new products to keep one step ahead of the competition.
