About Us - Oak Dining Sets

OakDiningSets is an internet based oak dining set furniture brand that is part of a larger furniture brand. OakDiningSets was founded with the aim of being a UK furniture distributor to retail shops across the country offering a huge selection of furniture at competitive prices. It soon became apparent that the high street furniture retailer was facing huge competition from online furniture retailers and that the business model would not be viable unless we tapped into the lucrative online furniture sector. We started to trial this in early 2006 and selling many product ranges online was an instant success and so it became clear to us that this was going to be the way forward for us to drive sales growth in the years ahead. We have now progressed to a fast growing internet furniture retailer that specialises in the oak dining and kitchen tables and chair sector with products sourced from the Baltic states in Eastern Europe. The business comprises of Mr Edwards and a team of warehouse staff who keep the wheels in motion to ensure a trouble free sales experience and delivery. A previous Director had a lifetime of experience in the furniture industry stretching over 30 years whilst Dave comes from an IT management background. This important combination of skills from the furniture trade and IT sector has made it possible for us to grow the company very quickly without having to employ a huge number of staff which has kept our costs low but has meant that we both work very long hours. By putting most of our focus into the oak dining tables and chairs furniture sector and sourcing top quality oak dining products in large quantities we have been able to offer our internet customers a broad range of top quality dining products at a price that we are confident will not be beaten.
