The 1.8m size have been extremely popular and is much more functional for the average sized dining room and will seat 6 - 8 people comfortably without extensions as up to 12 people with both extensions. Dimensions - 78cm table height, 63cm from floor to underside of side skirts, 120mm thick legs, 30mm thick tops

Please note that the grooves around the sections of solid oak tables and extensions vary from ~ 1mm to a maximum of ~3mm depending on the temperature and humidity and they are made this way to stabilise the structure of these huge tables. This is purely down to design reasons and is very important with such large sections of solid oak or there would be a risk of cracking and splitting of the oak which we obviously don't want to happen.
